console table made from a vintage toolbox
Rustic Entryway Table, Primitive Table, Vintage Toolbox
This amazing and unique vintage toolbox has been transformed into a console table. It has 3 metal drawers, with 2 having copper in the bottom of them. I preserved the original layers of different colors of paint with a clear lacquer. The underside of the lid says something about Boston Rubber - I am not sure if that's where the entire trunk came from, or if whoever made this, just used that piece to create the underside of the lid. I added handmade, steel X legs (with leg levelers) to complete the project. 27"L x 31"H x 11"D. Weighs about 70lbs.
